I was searching for some decent after work social activity in Central London (I work near Embankment) and I found you guys on Google. Love the website - I have shared the link with all my colleagues.

This is my 4th Jive Nation class in 2 weeks - both of your central London venues are so handy for me to get to after work - I really love it, and finally, finally have found something fun to do of an evening.

I cant wait for Friday 25th May, at the Hippodrome - it will be my first Freestyle party! I bought two tickets last night, as I am bringing a colleague. JK

You guys have really got the music working! Where do you keep getting the modern tracks from? Although I am a bit afraid that you have ruined my enjoyment when I go to other places that play the older stuff, swing and big band (arrrrrgh). I dont mind a mix with a few of the older tracks, but its got to have new stuff. Keep turning up the new records. Well done! Sarah

Dear Simon What an inspirational evening! We all had a great time and it was so good to see people really enjoying themselves. What's left for us to do is get the dancing shoes and dance. Just wanted to thank you and all the crew that worked hard towards making the Jive Super Club / Jive Nation party such an awesome night.

I'm looking forward to trying out some of the Modern Jive moves you'll be teaching at the Hippodrome.

By the way, I just checked the JiveNation.co.uk website but didn't get any results. Maybe I got the wrong address, but Googling it didn't bring up any relevant links either. Perhaps you can give me the right address so I can check it out.

Kudos for organising such a fantastic Jive party. I'm looking forward to it becoming a regular event.

I'm writing to let you know that I think you are right on target with your new venture. Leicester Square is the *best* location in London, probably the best location in all the UK, for this.

I think you will find that a younger, more vibrant, crowd will learn to enjoy Jiving, and that this will take off. The combination of good location, better music, and more control over the format and style of the dance lessons will ultimately bring in a target market that currently is, as far as I'm concerned, untapped!

Anyway, I'm glad you are making this bold move, and willing to take the risk. I plan to be at your class, this Monday! Cheers, Martin

Just a bit of feedback that may be worth considering:

I wanted to learn to dance because of the atmosphere that a traditional nightclub creates and I think this weekly evening is more or less what's needed. One thing that may be worth doing is adding a few more traditional disco and classic Motown to the mix of songs you already play See you next Monday,

Thanks so much for organising the event on Friday night. It was great fun and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. What a shame we couldn't dance until later! Sorry i ducked out before your after close party.

I'm sure your Monday night events will be very successful and will be especially good for anyone working in town as the venue is nice and central. I really like the idea of 3 hours of freestyle, as the amount of freestyle at Ceroc events other than Hammersmith is a bit disappointing for people who like me who I must confess go for the freestyle not the classes. I'd be happy to pay £10 for that.

There are only 2 potential negatives for me, which I thought worth mentioning. Firstly, the dance floor was a little trechorous where the raised bit and normal floor met although there isn't really anything you can do about this and I'm sure this will be less of an issue on a Monday night when you won't have 700 people in there! The other thing was that a few people weren't too keen on the music as it was continually fast and there were some tracks that were more clubby than Ceroc tunes - perhaps a mix of tempos and more 'ceroc classic's would work well? I'm not too sure if the people DJing on Friday night will be your regular DJs but I thought I'd pass this comment on anyway, as you have the potential to have a really successful night. I'll see you when I get back and will come along to one of your evenings. Hope you take this feedback in the positive spirit that it was intended.

thanks once again for a fab night - the DJ's were fantastic and it was great to dance to tunes that i'd hear in a nightclub on a 'civilian night out'. I had the best of both worlds !!!

Brilliant night friday! thank you so much. So well organised!! cant wait til the next one. D

What I liked best was the atmosphere and happy faces. The staff for the night were so welcoming. It really made a change. Love the venue as i always have done - used to go there many years ago. I loved the way people made a special effort to dress up etc too! The food was great! aircon upstairs worked well unlike any other venue I have danced at. Matt what a wonderful personality he has. Handing out the little cards at the end of the night speaking to all that left. Ok now what I hated! The music! sorry but was far too clubby for me. I love clubby music but not at a partner dance event. I live on the Northern Line and goes straight to Leicester Square - how lucky I am!! DA

I just wanted to say, "A VERY BIG THANK YOU" for Friday's event. I'm sure the sentiment is seconded by the dozen or so people who came in our group.

Truely memorable, with more people per square foot on any dance floor than I can remember in quite some while! It was great to rub shoulders, elbows, hips, ankles (and other body parts) with so many others.

Please say a big thank you to Amir, Sue and the others in the cabaret too. In fact to everyone who had helped make the evening the success it was.
